James Pouillon a 63-year-old man known in town as the "Abortion sign guy" was shot and killed outside Owosso High School where his grand daughter attended 70 miles northwest of Detroit this morning. Mr. Pouillon wore leg braces and was in constant need of an oxygen tank, the tank and a graphic sign of an aborted child in utero with the caption, 'Life' above it lay close by.

It has been confirmed that the sign held was of a born child on one side and a picture of an aborted unborn child on the other. It is not know for sure which side was being displayed at the time of the murder.

Harlan Drake a 33 year old with a big chip on his shoulder was out to kill people he didn’t like. His second victim was Mike Fuoss, the owner of Fuoss Gravel Pit, who was found dead after being shot multiple times at close range in his office. Mr. Drake was apprehended before he made it to his next appointment to do a realtor in.

The pro-life community mourns the loss of both men's lives and are “praying” for the murderer. Advocates of abortion doubted the motivation was abortion related but according to Shiawasee County Prosecutor Randy Colbry, the defendant was reacting to the sign and place, "It seemed to bother him, he was outside with his signs in front of the children."

According to the Flint Journal newspaper, sixteen-year-old Alex Garcia was driving to Owosso High School when he heard a gun saw Pouillon jerk his shoulder back before being shot again.
"I heard another shot from this white pickup, and saw the bullet hit his chest, and he fell to his knees," said Garcia. "Then there were two more shots to his chest again and his stomach, and then he fell forward. His nose was directly in the grass."
The high school student ran to help Pouillon without thinking of his own safety.
"I didn't even think about if the shooter was coming back. I was focused on helping Mr. Pouillon," he said. "I was asking him, 'Are you OK? Are you OK?' but there was no answer. I yelled for people to call 911."
"I couldn't see any breathing and I tried to find a pulse and couldn't. People were saying to flip him over, and we did. Blood was all over his shirt and coming out of his mouth. We knew he was dead," he told the Journal.

Online anti-abortion people are calling this a hate crime and asking if President Obama will speak out against this as he did the shooting of Dr. Tiller.

Abortion advocates have remained skeptical as to the motive but of the abortion proponents we have contacted Joyce Arthur of the The Abortion Rights Coalition of Canada has called the shootings "appalling and shocking" and believes the shooter to have been "psychotic".

Randy Colbry, Shiawassee County Prosecutor said Harlan Drake tried to commit suicide by cutting his arm near the wrist at the Shiawassee County Jail. He suffered a "serious gash" but is expected to recover.

The Press
Comment by Matt T. on 13th September 2009
One cannot help but notice the disparity between the volume of press coverage and the tone of the press coverage between Tiller's shooting and the shooting of Jim. We hope to do an analysis of the volume coverage difference. Clearly Tiller's shooting received far more coverage, not even close. Also the tone is dispicably noticeable. When Tiller was shot he was painted as perhaps the most saintly fellow who ever lived, while Jim has been painted as a controversial figure. All studies ever done show that at least 90% of those in journalism are pro-abortion in their personal views. It clearly comes out in their reporting. The man who actually murders the babies is painted as a saint, while the man who exposes their killing is painted as controversial.

May this man's life and death continue to be used by the Lord to draw many to the Father.
