In real life I had been kicked out of the house for becoming a believer in Christ being who he said he was. Seeking for a way to pay the rent, I walked into the Sign Of The Fish bookstore, recently gone out of bussiness as a sign of the times, on Lonsdale to apply for a job.

Upon seeing the acting experience stated on my resume and my long pony-tale, the gal behind the counter told me she was in a play and that I might be perfect for the part of Sonny, the lead role they were needing to fill.

And so I was cast in the 1989 Dragons Project under the fine direction of Ron Reed of Pacific Theater. It was my first paid professional theater experience but it was so much more than that.
